Terms of Service

The service

DecibelNotes (operated by RevoluteHR LLC) transcribes and summarizes audio you upload, using AI running on our own hardware. Transcription is automated; like all automated transcription, it can contain errors — review anything important before relying on it.

Your responsibilities

• Only upload recordings you have the right to record and process. Laws on recording conversations vary by place — consent is your responsibility.
• No illegal content, and no attempting to break, overload, or probe the service.

Plans, payments, refunds

• Paid plans and top-up credit are billed via Stripe. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal and remain active until the end of the paid period.
• Top-up credit doesn't expire. Failed transcriptions automatically refund their metered minutes.
• Something billed wrong? Email us — we'd rather refund than argue.

Data & retention

Covered fully in our privacy page. Short version: audio is deleted after processing, transcripts auto-expire per your plan, and nothing is used for AI training — ours or anyone else's.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We're a small operation charging cents per minute — please price that reality into your expectations.

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date above.
